Background information

Having been a Principal Teacher of English, a Depute Headteacher in a large secondary school, and an Education Manager at Learning and Teaching Scotland during the development of Curriculum for Excellence, I am now offering top quality support, advice and training to teachers, schools and local authorities on an independent basis. I have an excellent record of CPD provision during my time at LTS and was part of the original writing team for the Literacy and English framework. I have worked closely with colleagues in Scottish Government, HMIE and SQA and have recently trained as a Lead Practitioner for Moving Image Education with Scottish Screen.
